Baby Wearing Positions
Before using your Snuggy Baby sling, please read the safety recommendations carefully by clicking here.
Threading the sling
To thread your sling and prepare it for use, start by placing the sling over your non dominate shoulder. The fold should be down, creating a smooth look over your shoulder. The rings should be placed half way between your shoulder and your breasts.
Make sure that the fabric is smooth across your back and not twisted.
Gather the tail of the sling and fold it through both rings
.
Separate the rings, and fold the tail of the sling, over the top ring and under the bottom one.
Grip the rings and pull the tail down to adjust your sling so that it fits your body. The sling should still be loose so that you can put your baby into the sling. You will tighten it further once your baby is in the sling.
Cradle Position
0 months + Great for sleeping and breastfeeding
Once your sling is threaded, make sure that it is adjusted with enough room for your baby to fit into the sling. Open the sling so that there is a pocket for the baby to lie down in.
Hold your baby on your non-dominate shoulder, and reach under the sling to open the sling and pull the top edge of the sling to cover your baby and your elbow.
Lower your baby into a reclining position in the middle of the pocket of the sling.
Adjust the sling to make sure that your baby's airway is not restricted and that your baby is centered (face towards the sky, not your body or the sling) and supported by fabric on both sides.
